Did you know?
- Sterilization of your cat or dog will increase his/her chance of a long and healthy life. Spay/neuter reduces their urge to roam, and decreases the risk of contracting diseases or getting hurt as they roam.
- The biggest health and welfare problem that threatens cats in Canada is homelessness, because there are simply too many cats and not enough homes for all of them. By spaying or neutering your pet, you can help prevent overcrowding of shelters.
- Since 2002, the Clinique vétérinaire des petits animaux de l’Estrie has sterilized nearly 40,000 cats, dogs, rabbits, and the occasional Vietnamese pot-bellied pig.
